I am Courtney Norman, a devoted professional in the field of child passenger safety, with a deep-seated passion for ensuring the safety of young passengers on the road. Since 2014, I have served as a Child Passenger Safety Technician and obtained Special Needs Certification and Instructor status in 2016. Currently, I hold the position of District 7 Liaison for the Office of Highway Safety, where I play a crucial role in promoting and expanding the CPST program within the district. In my role, I am responsible for managing a team of technicians in Public Health District 7. My duties include maintaining certifications, introducing the CPST program to various agencies and organizations, and ensuring the growth and success of the program. Additionally, I proudly serve as the President of Little Defenders Inc., a non-profit organization I founded to enhance the program's reach in East Idaho. I ensure adherence to safety standards and curriculum guidelines.
